FAQs

How many children can you accommodate? 16-20 guests including the birthday child, depending on the theme variation. Please consider whether siblings will participate when making out your guest list as they may want to sit a spell for tea, too.

How do I reserve a party? Determine your date and a second choice date. Call or email us at (850) 544-2287 (info@cookiesandteaforme.com) to schedule your party. Once a date and time are agreed upon, we will send you a paypal invoice or email outlining the party details. It is your responsibility to review the invoice/email and verify the date and time immediately upon receipt to guarantee your desired reservation is scheduled as you wish.

Is a deposit required? Yes. A nonrefundable $125 deposit is required to confirm your party reservation date and time. The deposit is applied to your party balance. If for some reason you must reschedule due to illness or family emergency, we are happy to work with you to get your party back on the schedule within the next 3 weeks following the original date. If you do not reschedule, the deposit is retained as a cancellation fee. Advance payments or payments in full are not required but accepted. If for some reason you must cancel your party, you will be issued a credit to be used towards a party in the future up to 1 year from the original party date.

When do I pay the party balance and what forms of payment do you accept? The party balance is due one week before the party and is payable by cash or credit card. We do not accept checks for party balances.

My guest list includes little boys. Can I invite them and/or do you think boys would enjoy the party? Yes...depending on their age, of course. Little boys do enjoy dress-up, face painting, crafts and the tea party very much. We have pirate capes and hats as well as knight helmets, capes and armor for them to enjoy in the dress-up room. Instead of make-up, they can select from a variety of face/arm painting like a cool dragon tattoo or pirate face complete with hairy eyebrow. Please let me know and I will make every effort to accommodate your guests.

Can parents drop off or do they need to stay? Parents of the guests are most welcome to sign their child in and drop off. I suggest a return/pick-up time of 15 minutes prior to the end of the party. The birthday parent or guardian is always present at the party as well as 1 or 2 party hostesses.

What time should I arrive for my daughter's party? Is there anything I need to do beforehand or when I arrive at the boutique on the party day?We host several parties in a weekend, scheduling just 30 minutes in between each 2-hour party reservation. There is nothing required of you for the party setup...we have it all taken care of so you can enjoy the party without worry. Therefore, we request that you do not arrive too early. Once we are ready to greet you and guests (usually 5 minutes prior to start time), we will gladly welcome you into the boutique. Thank you in advance for your patience while we reset.

If you have other questions, please don't hesitate to call or email me at info@cookiesandteaforme.com.

I look forward to hearing from you!
